Maureen Callahan Repetto

Maureen was referred to me by a friend. I should have read the bad reviews before I hired instead. It was a nightmare from the start. She only has one paralegal who types up the paper work and makes mistakes and asks you to proofread them for her. Charges you for those emails back and forth to correc...t her mistakes. The consultation call with Maureen sounded like she was drunk. She forgot the first consultation appointment, by the way. Four months into the case I had to fire her and find someone else to take over. Maureen was incompetent, unorganized, and had no empathy at all. She filed paperwork wrong with the courts and I had to refile so the retainer I paid was for nothing. I was told I could sue her for malpractice but you try to find a lawyer who will go against another lawyer. Doesn't happen unless there's tons of money in it for them. Domestic relations kept me up to date about my case more than she did. Do not hire!

I was timid and afraid as every attorney I hired took my money and could have cared less. Other attorneys made promises and never made good on their promises. Maureen assured me that “[I] would be OK!” She told me to relax as I paid her “to worry!” Amazing was the fact that she cared about my ...children. And, quite frankly, they loved her. It was not that they loved “her,” it was that they knew that Maureen told mommy that “it would all be OK!” And it was. Then to support and equitable distribution!! Maureen know finances and figures better than anyone who I ever met. She proposed all of the numbers with other attorneys depending on some computer program. She walked into court with her financial ability and even the Master in Support asked Maureen to “walk the Master and opposing counsel through her numbers and the calculations!!”’ I truly believe that any bad reviews are from opposing parties or are from people who just didn’t want to pay —- she is worth every penny!! I love you Maureen. And from me and my children, “Thank you!”

Maureen has officially been my attorney for I would say 22 years. This is my 2nd round with her. 1st round again 22 years ago she got me my child support and custody. We were also then working on a divorce but the other partys attorney withdrew because his client (my soon to be ex) was not complying.... Well things stood stalemate. Now we are at it again. How about this other partys new attorney withdrew as well until Maureen pulled out her best and froze all other partys assets. We are close to the end and I could not have been blessed to have Maureen Represent me once again. Both she and Heather her paralegal are Super Fantastic. She has guided me and spoken to me as a friend as well as my attorney. Always making sure I'm ok and advising and directing me in the right direction. So Kudos to my Attorney, Maureen Repetto. I would recommend her anytime!!
