Timothy M. Kolman

I had the pleasure of working with Timothy Kolman on a very unpleasant labor issue with my former employer. I originally contacted Mr. Kolman regarding a hostile work environment that eventually transitioned into a wrongful termination. I was in a position of authority in my compay and prided myself ...on being efficient and productive. I was placed in a very awkward position when the owners of the company I worked for had hired one of their daughters to work for them under my supervision. At first the relationship was professional and seemed normal until two weeks into her employment she began to come in late repeatedly, not finish the work that had been designated for her and became very confrontational with me regarding almost any interactions we would have. After several weeks of this type of behavior I presented the owner (her father) with some of the issues I had been experiencing (which were all documented) and the owner was outraged, however he was outraged with me because in his words I was creating the negative environment. To make a long story short, my employment their became very stressful and I was uncomfortable with directing or even supervising his daughter anymore because now both she and her father were yelling at me and questioning everything I did. I had worked with this company for over 20 years and had never been given a bad performance review before, in fact all my reviews were positive and most resulted in a raise. Timothy Kolman took my case on a contingency basis (he didn't get compensated for his efforts unless I did) and prevailed in court with a very satisfactory settlement one week prior to our trial date. He helped me stay calm through out the process and always tried to paint a realistic picture of what both our expectations should be for the case.
