Timothy M. Kolman

He made MANY errors, tries to get his partners to FORCE me to accept a 5,000.00 offer because I had no case. No I had and still have a case. Because I wouldnt accept that poor offer and I started talking to others attorney about it he withdrawls from the case and then places a lien on my file. Takes... me to the magistrate to sue me . Well the magistrate agreed with me because I never agreed to a damn 5,000 offer for which he was going to get 40% of made no sense. No don't accept him. When it gets tough he will bail.

Mr. Kolman was in a hurry to accept my case when I first presented all of the the facts to him. Once I retained him, he was difficult to connect with, and became irritated with my questions and occasional requests for an update on my case. At one point, after he failed to/refused to listen to me on a... very important nuance of my case, he became infuriated, called me names and insulted me. I went through a lot with my former employer, and was further traumatized by the way Kolman treated me. His legal team also turned over frequently, so it was very difficult to have any consistency/continuity in my representation. I dealt with multiple attorneys from Kolman Law throughout this legal ordeal.

A far better attorney can be found elsewhere. Hired this attorney, paid the fee $1,250 in full. His efforts achieved no results for me whatsoever, and all I got in the end was an email berating me and name-calling me "unpleasant and vindictive." Mr. Kolman. Worst attorney I have ever hired, Definitel...y not worth the time or money!

I hired Mr. Kolman because of wrongful termination. Unfortunately he didn’t handle my case professionally. I had to hire another lawyer to learned that there was a hearing about which Mr. Kolman didn’t tell me at all. During the course of the case he showed indifference, didn’t read the materials and... didn’t work on the case at all. I would never recommend Mr. Kolman as a lawyer.

I met Mr. Kolman in November of 2010 at his office to go over a possible employment case. Mr. Kolman after reviewing the information said that I had a good case and that he wanted to represent me, that was the last time I ever had a conversation with him. He promised aggressive representation all the... way up to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, he said that he would be personaly handling the case. I did not hear anything from Mr. Kolman's firm until January of 2011, when I was promised the case would be filed by the end of November 2010. In January I heard from a Junior Associate who really knew nothing of the case, and who told me that Mr, Kolman was not handling the case rather Mr. Ely was going to be the lead attorney. Once the case was filed my employer contacted the junior attorney and suddenly I was told that I had to settle because they could file a motion (March 2011) and he was affraid to proceed against them.This was the last I heard from this Junior Attorney who left this law firm in the middle of the case (March 2011). After this I was given wrong information by Mr. Kolman's and Mr. Ely's Paralegals, and when I emailed and called the Law firm, not one Attorney would talk to me, I was told by Mr. Ely's Paralegal that the Attorney's to busy to talk to me (Reminder they represent me and will talk to me about my case). In the settlement phase all they did was email me a setlement and when I had questions about things I did not understand and I contacted Kolman they would not talk to me about it or give me any advice. I signed an agreement that I was confused about because Kolman and Associates only have thier best interest in mind, not the clients. This Firm lacks Professionalism, and will not return phone calls or emails. I would not ever use this firm again, Mr. Kolman promised great representaton and press coverage, which never happened. Kolman and Associates did a very very poor job, they got their fees and I lost my job, How fair is that Mr. Kolman? Research other Employment Attorney's and stay away from this firm.
