Timothy M. Kolman

It's not often that I get the opportunity to commend a person or business. It is however with great pleasure that I do so now. I was battling a former employer of mine for terminating my employment with them due to what I believed was directly related to my disability. I had worked for this company f...or 8 years with a very good work performance history and not one complaint or work related issue to speak of, certainly nothing that was written up or documented. My case was difficult because the company I had been working with was bought out by another larger company and they "cleaned house". I was not the only person they terminated which made singling me out for my disability very difficult to prove. Kolman Ely (Timothy Kolman), took my case when no one else would. To shorten a very long story, after almost 19 months of back and fourth legal "stuff" my former employer chose to offer me a deal. Mr. Kolman's unrelenting position to go to trial frustrated the other side so much that they (in my opinion) were left with no options but to avoid trial. I am truly thrilled with my final settlement and can't say enough about how professional and human Timothy was during the whole process. When I looked for an Employment Lawyer, I didn't expect to find a friend. Timothy Kolman did become my friend, someone I am privileged and honored to know and be associated with.
