Mark David Johns

I hired Mark Johns to represent my daughter in clearing up some old traffic violations. Mark Johns failed to send letters of representation to the courts, failed to appear before the judge when scheduled by the court and failed to submit the proper paperwork to the courts resulting in a warrant being... issued. We had to hire another attorney to represent my daughter in this case. Mr. Johns blamed the courts for lying to us opposed to excepting responsibility.

Don't waste your time or money. He took my case and retainer. Told me everything was good, then a year later I recieved a notice that my license was suspended. He gave me a bunch of b.s. excuses and told me there was a "fire" at Penndot and they lost my records. Then a week later told me once again a...ll was good. Another year had passed and my license was suspended and the police took it from me when I was pulled over. After 2 days of callschool and text messages he finally answered. He gave me the run around for another 3 weeks and when I pressed him he basically told me he did nothing and I had to file several different appeal. Really??? What did I pay him for???? I currently took my situation to our state reps office. This so called attorney took my money, cost me my job and 3 years of aggravation and stress. I later found out that he was suspended from practicing lawith for a year and this guy still gave me legal advice. What options do I have? He needs to pay me back my retainer and should be disbarred for life. Do not fall into the same trap I did. I was stuck and had to see it through.

This lawyer took my money to help restore my driver's license from a lien. He claimed to have gotten a settlement after two months of working the case. He did not actually get in touch with the other attorney's office. He did not actually get confirmation of the settlement. He took money for the s...ettlement. Then he stopped texting me and calling me. I asked for a refund and he agreed. That was a month ago and I have not heard anything from him.
