I hired Ari to handle a severance agreement with a previous employer. I did so based on the fact that the firm I originally hired got off to a very rough start in my negotiations. The contentious negotiations actually got worse from there, with the company threatening to retract all monetary compen...sation and even to threaten legal action - prompting me to switch my representation to Ari. Immediately, there was a change in not only tone (much more empathy, much less "clubiness" with opposing attorneys), but more importantly, Ari immediately showed a willingness to be aggressive and fight, given that my position was definitely defensible. This was exactly what was needed. As Ari mentioned to me several times, he emphasizes results - and that was exactly what he achieved. Not only did I wind up with a successful outcome in terms of a severance agreement, but when I later wound up in a billing dispute with the firm I went with originally, Ari reached a satisfactory outcome there as well. Even in some very tense discussions regarding the negotiations, he managed to keep me calm, and often flashed a sense of humor that I found extremely refreshing.
