Helly Saadzoi

The title of my review is "The Meta-defender" I used it to emphasize how far-reaching Helly Saadzoi's defense actually goes. She defended me PRO BONO in two different criminal cases, one which was the violation of the other. They were both alcohol-related. She knew I couldn't afford a legal defen...se. I told her that I was an alcoholic, and that I didn't want to go to jail because I cared for my college education too much: I realized that I made a terrible mistake in judgment, and I didn't want to lose time for it. Indeed SHE LISTENED. Not only did this marvelous human being and excellent professional keep me out of jail. She defended me from myself, from the anxiety that befalls one when he "doesn't know" what to expect from his charges. Her legal advice is logical, and coincides with a humane sentiment that, I believe, she could not have learned in law school. I witnessed her brilliance and persuasion and compassion as she spoke to the DA, to the judge(s), to my PO. She achieved ARD for the first case. For the second, she managed to have nearly all of my charges dropped. She went above and beyond for me. I highly recommend this spectacular attorney if you not only wish to have a favorable outcome in your legal process, but a peaceful mind as well.

A few years ago my husband and I contacted four lawyers about an immigration issue all of which did not have any confidence in our case succeeding. During our fifth and final attempt at finding a lawyer we came across Helly Saadzoi. When we met Helly she was like a breath of fresh air. She came to th...e table with clear and truthful information and advice. She gave us confidence, confidence that we were lacking because of being shut down by four other lawyers. She was with us every step of the way. Her office is located in a different state than where we live; however, this did not stop her from keeping in constant contact with us. We spoke on the phone and skype often throughout the whole process. Helly SAVED our family. We will forever be truly grateful for all of the support and confidence she gave us throughout this process. Helly is truly the BEST lawyer we ever found.

I went to Attorney Saadzoi feeling desperate that my case was a lost cause. The best decision I made was consulting and trusting in Attorney Saadzoi. She stepped in and gave me hope for my case. Every consultation I had with her was free of charge. Whenever I had a question or concern about my case, ...she was extremely reliable and responded promptly which allowed me to reduce my worry. In court, she presented herself knowledgeably, professionally, confidently, and did a remarkable job in defending me. She is intelligent, kind, humble, and was much focused on helping me receive the best outcome. It is refreshingly noticeable that Attorney Saadzoi is not in it for the money but represents clients because she genuinely cares for their well-being and wants to help them. I could not have asked for a better representation. I will forever be grateful to Attorney Saadzoi and I recommend her to anyone seeking legal representation in general law, but especially in immigration law.

Ms Saadzoi was quick to take a check and show up for my defense, which I suppose is half the job, but the only insight she could give (and she said this multiple times) is "ignorance is no excuse to break the law". Which is such a novice response for a client who clearly knows that. She showed a comp...lete lack of professionalism by not responding to NUMEROUS correspondences asking for documentation, insight and assistance. To me she is in it for the money. When I wrote her a check, she ripped out of my hand so quick and made the comment "oh, that was easy". I should have known then. After I was sentenced she said to me "I'll get back to you about xxxxx" Never did she follow up. She refused Certified letters asking for her promised follow-up as well as many many others letters. I actually respect what lawyers do despite what other people say about them, but in my experience with her, she is borderline incompetent.
