Helly Saadzoi

Helly Zaadzoi, thanks to her my family has stayed together. Helly took my case from ICE detention, very straight forward, never sugar coating anything. Helly has done magnificent work; she gathered documents, fought for us in court, was on time for every court date, perp us before every appointment..., provided us with very specific details (documents, locations, times, places). I don’t think anyone else would’ve done such work. Again thanks to her I have my livelihood back and, we (my family) will forever be thankful. My husband and I would recommend Helly without a doubt: very respectful, very open minded, very welcoming towards LGBTQIA+ people. She’s worth it!

Ms Saadzoi was quick to take a check and show up for my defense, which I suppose is half the job, but the only insight she could give (and she said this multiple times) is "ignorance is no excuse to break the law". Which is such a novice response for a client who clearly knows that. She showed a comp...lete lack of professionalism by not responding to NUMEROUS correspondences asking for documentation, insight and assistance. To me she is in it for the money. When I wrote her a check, she ripped out of my hand so quick and made the comment "oh, that was easy". I should have known then. After I was sentenced she said to me "I'll get back to you about xxxxx" Never did she follow up. She refused Certified letters asking for her promised follow-up as well as many many others letters. I actually respect what lawyers do despite what other people say about them, but in my experience with her, she is borderline incompetent.
