Biography
Julieane's legal career began with the Attorney General's Office of Pennsylvania where she worked as a legal intern (Torts Litigation & Financial Enforcement Sections) while attending Widener University School of Law. Upon graduating and passing the bar, Julieane was hired as Law Clerk to the Honorable President Judge Joseph H. Kleinfelter (now deceased) of Dauphin County. After fulfilling a two-year commitment to Judge Kleinfelter, Julieane moved to the Dauphin County Public Defenders Office as an Assistant Public Defender. In this position, Julieane worked on all phases of adult criminal law including: preliminary hearings, guilty pleas, sentencing hearings, jury trials and appeals to the Superior Court.
After a move to Berks County, she accepted a part-time position with the Lehigh County Public Defenders Office as an Assistant Public Defender. Julieane was able to secure a full-time position at MidPenn Legal Services ("MPLS") in Reading, PA. At MPLS, Julieane was a Supervising Attorney practicing in numerous areas of the law (including Child Custody, Protection from Abuse, Welfare, Unemployment Compensation). It was during this time that Julieane successfully argued in front of the Pennsylvania Superior Court on a child custody case.
After almost 5 years with MPLS, Julieane moved into the private sector and began working for Bentley Law Office in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Here, Julieane focused her time solely on family law (divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, protection from abuse and appeals). Recently, Julieane has relocated to Lehigh Valley and it is this move that has provided her with the opportunity to open Fry Law Office.
