Atty Breit

Steven Breit is a very knowledgable and effective lawyer. My son got into drug problems and his possible sentence was going to be large fines and a long time in prison. Atty Breit's skill and use of the law changed that outcome. I was able to get my son the right help to turn him around. I highly rec...ommend Atty Breit to represent you, especially if your circumstances are unique. On top of his success, his staff, though small, was very responsive to our needs.

Excellent work

Steven is a brilliant attorney that is hardworking ,responsive and available. He returned my call on a weekend! Steven will put your best interest first. Steven always fought for me in this situation and spent time to fully research the law .He approached this case with true professionalism.

We didn't know our rights

In dealing with an issue with our (minor) daugter, I was confused about what our rights were since the police officer involved kept changing what the outcome would be with each discussion. In explaining the situation to Atty. Breit he offered his legal advice on what options/route to take regarding h...er case. I am so happy that we spoke to him. We went before the judge, and offered the suggestions given by Atty. Breit and the outcome was so much better than what we were dealing with initially. The legal system is a confusing one for people that don't deal with it on a regular basis. Atty. Breit explained our rights, and our options clearly. I cannot reccommend him highly enough.

don't trust this bozo., your better off with public defender

i wouldn't trust this guy with 1 dollar. He was very interested in taking my case in the beginning and seemed very excited to win my case that first night i left his office feeling very confident about him and that he was the lawyer that i had prayed for. But After I paid my retainer fee. It seemed l...ike he was working with the prosecution, not me. He never built a good defense for me. He completely screwed me on my preliminary hearing never telling me what was going on just that I was waiting my prelimany hearing. I went before the judge and the judge said so you are waiving your preliminary hearing today and stunned I looked over at Breit and he nodded his head yes. After signing away my preliminary rights over he said that he got the one charge lowered to a misdemeanor. Later he sends me a cofidential letter to me in the mail stating that my best offer from the state is at minimum 12 to 24 months in state prison and that I also send him another 1800 dollars to stand next to me and look pretty in a bowtie I guess. Now this is my first time for everything and I had a very very good defense in my situation. Steven Breit sent the same confidential letter that he sent me, he also sent to the DAs office, stating my best offer from the state will be jailtime. ruining my best outcome for the case by doing so. A confidetial etter telling me my best outcome is prison and what charges they can use against me are you CRAZY? WHO DOES THIS?. So he basically helped the DA in prosecuting me, and he also violated our confidentiality agreement. I have reported this man for fraud and for breaching our confidentiality agreement that we had.he also was notified that after sending that letter to the DAs office the DA decided to take Breit's advice and raise my charge that was lower to an M1 back up to an F3. The DA notified Breit of their decision and told Breit that because they had changed it back to an F3 that I had the right to a new prelimanary hearing. And guess what, after I went with a different lawyer. Breit never sent me the email from the DAs office ensuring my best possible outcome in this case. So I basically paid Breit 1200 dollars to show up at my preliminary hearing and throw me under the bus get me to sign my rights over and then tell the DAs office our strategy in my case and then demand another 1800 dollars to hand me over on a silver platter to the DAs office. Bottom line if you love you family and you love you kids and you made a mistake and you want to be there for them or you want the best possible outcome i do not recommend you to go to this man for a criminal case. he hurt my case so bad. And what he did was unethical and unmorral. How do you sleep at night taking money from ppl that trust you to DEFEND them and do nothing. That is a very bad man. I know what I did was wrong but it wasn't violent and I didn't hurt anyone it was my first time being in trouble and I made a mistake, I owned up to my mistake and I am sorry for my mistake. all you had to do is say I'm sorry I just can't take you case, but because your wife works for WGAL and WGAL has such a strong stance against opiates which is what i got charged with delivery of(which btw if you were a good LAWYER you would have known was possession not delivery) instead you said oh don't worry don't worry he'll be fine to my wife and took my money and did nothing for me and did everything for the DAs office. The last time i came to your office you told me Im screwed and throw a paper in my face from another case of a man getting killed from fentanyl, I'm sorry that you hate opiates so much and thats all your stupid news station talks about but i didnt kill that man. If you hate drugs then why did you offer your services to be a criminal defense lawyer, you should have became a prosecutor for the DAs office

Although you possessed a loaded gun and synthetic fentanyl we attended your hearing and when the prosecutor reduced the felony gun charge to a misdemeanor, you were more than willing to waive your hearing. After you hired another lawyer the DA realized the plea agreement was too lenient and he reinstated the charges. At that point in time your new lawyer was aware of this. That is why you plead guilty to your charges last week. As far as an investigation about how your case was handled I welcome the opportunity!
