Biography
Michael Aegbuniwe is an associate attorney with Mooney Law. Michael focuses primarily on criminal defense and family law.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael interned at the York County Public Defender’s Office where he assisted in the representation of indigent individuals charged with crimes in the York County area. Michael also interned with the Public Utility Commission where he assisted attorneys in preparing for investigations and in taking legal actions against public utilities for possible violations of the Public Utility Code or the Public Utility Commission’s regulations. Michael also spent two years practicing criminal defense and family law at a cumberland County Firm.
Michael earned his bachelor’s degree of criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He then earned his Juris Doctor at Widener Commonwealth Law school in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While in law school, Michael was treasurer for Widener’s Black Law Student Association, was a staff member for Widener’s Law Journal of Race and Economics and was an academic success tutor. Mike resides in York, PA and graduated high school from Dallastown Area High school. When he isn’t devoting time to criminal defense and family law, Michael enjoys listening to music, podcasts, and watching the newest comic book movies.

No matter the situation he will work with you
He did a excellent job with my custody case was always available when I needed him, he explained each process thoroughly so I would understand what was happening and also when the time was right he knew when to be aggressive and fight for me I have nothing bad to say about him
