So my ex has a PFA against me. She filed it when I was still out there using. I now have over a year clean and sober and she wants to talk she called me yesterday and came over to talk. When I went to court the judge said that if SHE reaches out to me then I'm not violating the pfa only if I reach out to her. I'm just double checking.
She does not have any conditions on her. She can reach out to you if she wants. Now here is where it gets messy, if you talk to her its a violation. A lot of people get caught up in this trap. Make sure you do not contact her and if she contacts you either save it or document it.
Please excuse my brevity and any typos as answers are often given using a cellular phone.
She does not have any court ordered conditions on her. She may be able to reach out you and try to get you to contact her. However, I would suggest not speaking with her because the protection from abuse order is still in place against you. Thus, you still may not contact her. I would also keep record of all contact she is having with you.
