Philip M. Masorti

I don't know where to begin for this review. From our initial consultation to now (ongoing case), this lawyer has done nothing but aggravate my anxiety and my problem. I was charged with a criminal offense so I contacted this lawyer upon reading many positive reviews. He contacted me and agreed to me...et on that very day. He saw a very scared kid who was overwhelmed with anxiety. At the meeting, I described my situation and he told me that everything was going to be fine and told me to sign a retainer fee. I was in a very vulnerable state which he further exasperated when he said he doesn't have time and needs to go visit his mother for the weekend. I couldn't think clearly and I signed it. Now throughout the whole case, Phil never gave me this comfortable feeling that he's got my case taken care of. One day, he was ignoring my calls/messages so I even showed up at his office to see him surprised and agitated to see me show up so randomly. Although that's one of MANY things that I unfortunately dealt with, I want to focus on the what my situation is now. Currently, my case is being continued when Phil said I would only get an ARD. I don't know what to do. I didn't want to do this review but people should be warned about how they could be treated. I don't want ANYONE to go through what I went through dealing with this lawyer.

Phil is a wonderful attorney, a friend, and overall person. During my case, he made sure that I knew what was going on with every step. Whenever I felt uneasy, he always had a way of subsiding those feelings and reassuring me that everything was going to be okay. Phil always looked out for my best in...terest and made sure that all accommodations were met. Over the course of the case, we developed a very great relationship that stemmed outside of just business. He helped get me a resolution that will ultimately lead to the expungement of charges and sealing of my records. I wish nothing but the best for Phil and that he continues his great work because he is a great human being. Whether he knows it or not, I learned a lot from just being in his presence and observing his meticulous methodology.

From my initial phone call with Philip regarding a DUI, he genuinely showed that he wanted to help me. After my first meeting with him at his office, I knew that he was the attorney that I needed to hire. He has always explained the processes that we would go through in the legal system. He has alwa...ys been there, day and night, to answer any question that I had. He has been by my side to fight for me. He always treated me with respect. This is my first time of having to be in the legal system, but Philip has always been there to represent me. Through his genuineness and caring, Philip has made me feel that I always have someone to help me through this.

Mr. Masorti handled my son's case which was fairly publicized and extremely serious. He kept us in the loop every step of the way. He answered our questions with honesty; talked to the D.A.; gave great-sounding advice; handled the press and saw the case through to the end. Phil was able to get the be...st possible outcome we could have hoped for for my son who was facing quite a few years in state prison. Phil worked his "magic" and got the sentence down to months in the county jail. Phil was definitely reasonably priced and was well worth the money we paid. Phil's a straight shooter with compassion. Myself, my family and my son truly thank Phil for the job he did and for his professional assistance in a very sensitive case. I highly recommend his services! Thank you Phil!

We found ourselves in shock & disbelief when a family member was charged with felonies for an action causing no physical harm and legitimately believed to be within ones legal right to ‘stand your ground’. We were in search of a defense attorney who knew his way around Centre Co legal system and woul...d provide a vigorous defense without taking the easy way out of a case. Recommendations immediately led us to Mr. Philip Masorti, whom we found to be confident and reassuring. We were extremely grateful and relieved he was at least able to get the charges reduced to a level more appropriate befitting the legal description of the incident. We were further shocked when the county still insisted on a punishment much more severe than we expected for a first offense with no physical harm, ( in light of what others received who actually caused physical harm, even death) but through this whole harrowing ordeal, Philip was there for us, especially me, at times more like a trusted family friend than legal counsel. He was frank and honest about possible outcomes. Having heard so many complaints about lawyers who don’t return calls, I was very pleasantly surprised and relieved to find Phil was never more than a phone call or text away even if out of town. He made himself available for face-to-face meetings when I needed updates and reassurance. He has a compassionate heart and truly seems to care about the success of young men who have made a mistake.
