I’m the Power of Attorney for a friend of mine. After filing for divorce, he was put in an unfortunate position where he thought he would not be able to continue the process. It took him a few weeks to be able to, but he eventually contacted Cairns Law Offices to inform them of his situation. They n...ot only got back to him within 24 hrs. of receiving his correspondence, but they contacted me the same day as well to let me know that his predicament would not be a hindrance. Along with that phone call, I got a few follow up calls & emails to keep me abreast of the progress of the divorce as well. The divorce went through in the timeframe they gave us. Actually, a day, or two earlier. I also received the hard copy of the notarized divorce decree within 3 days of receiving the email that the divorce was finalized. This is my first time being a Power of Attorney & having to handle anything like this for anyone. Cairns Law Offices’ understanding, attentiveness & professionalism are unmatched. I am so very happy I went with this Lawyer and company! The one and ONLY thing I did not like about this firm was that you have to pay to communicate through phone. (I don’t remember how much exactly but it was not expensive-it would have been for me to ask one or 2 questions) HOWEVER, you can talk t...hrough email how ever many times you please for free (which is what I ended up doing). I don’t like email as much because miscommunication occurs and I just prefer talking. I guess this is how they make some of their money and it would be even more costly if I hired my own private lawyer. As long as both parties involved in the divorce agree on EVERYTHING they can and will help you! I spent a total of roughly 500.00 on my divorce and this includes all paperwork I needed, notary fees, and fees from the post office to send my papers in! The best decision I made was going with them! This lawyer responded to my email within the same day or next depending on how late in the day I sent an email in! He helped to make this horrible experience of getting divorced ridiculously easy! I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS LAWYER AND COMPANY!
