also known as Robert W. Galbraith, Robert Galbraith
Rob, as known by his friends and family, is a life-long resident of the Pittsburgh area and attended Westminster College where he was active in student government and chosen by his classmates to hold various offices. Following his graduation from Westminster, Rob attended the Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Case Western, Rob pursued a course of studies that propelled him on path towards a a career in litigation. As a result of his studies, Rob was awarded the Paul J. Hergengroeder Award for Excellence in Courtroom Tactics, the Dean Dunmore Distinguished Advocate Award, and the CALI Excellence For the Future Award in the field of trial tactics, in addition to being chosen by his peers to serve as a student Justice on the law school’s Judicial Board. Rob was also fortunate to win a position on the Craven Moot Court Team and competed in a national moot court competition.
After graduating from Case in 2000, Rob returned to the Pittsburgh area and began practicing law in our region. Rob is admitted to practice law in all of the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Following time spent representing the interests of insurance companies and their insureds in litigation, Rob chose to change his career path to enter the field of domestic litigation and family law. One of the many reasons Rob has become passionate about this area of law is because he has been blessed to grow his own family through adoption. Rob also also believes that he can now use his legal experience better by helping people with issues related to what we hold dear – our families.
Rob enjoys spending time in the outdoors, studying the American Civil War, and is an avid hockey fan, among other sports. Rob’s most cherished time is spent with his family.

Mr. Galbraith represented my ex-husband in our divorce. A few years after moving back to Spain -my home country- I started the process to have our divorce legalized in Spain. My ex-husband and I had separated in good terms, and he did everything he could to send me all the documents I needed. However...
"I endorse Robert Galbraith. He and I went head to head on a difficult case and he was a tough but fair adversary. Rob is extremely knowledgeable in divorce, custody and support areas, as well as in business law. He is very practical and hard-working and can relate well with clients. I have referred a number of my clients to him for a variety of matters, and he has done a good job for them. I fully endorse Rob as an outstanding attorney."
