Attorney Stachtiaris brings a unique perspective to his practice. Embarking on a career in law after a successful career as a business professional, Attorney Stachtiaris brings a diverse background to the profession and his practice. Attorney Stachtiaris is a member of the Pennsylvania and Allegheny County Bar Association's Family Law Sections and the Matrimonial Inn of Court.
Attorney Stachtiaris is trained in the Collaborative Law process, an alternative to the processes of mediation and litigation. The Collaborative process empowers those involved in a conflict, by letting them keep control of the process and ultimately their own future. Attorney Stachtiaris has been an officer of and is a founding member of the Collaborative Law Association of Southwestern Pennsylvania and was appointed the first Chair of the Collaborative Law Committee of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He has also chaired the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and served on counsel of the Family Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association.
Attorney Stachtiaris has taught continuing education classes at the Community College of Allegheny County on Pennsylvania Divorce Law and the Collaborative Process. He is also a continuing legal education instructor for National Business Institute and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
