Robert Mielnicki is the kindest, attentive, most effective defense attorney to have on your side when you or someone you love are in a legal predicament. Recently after 41 years I found myself in need of an Attorney due to a traffic citation I received in May of 2015. I had never hired an attorney and really didn't know what to expect. I found Mr. Mielnicki through the AVVO website and called him right away about my problem. He answered me within the ...hour and tirelessly answered my numerous question and made me feel more at ease about my situation. In fact all emails were answered promptly usually within 30 minutes or less. This was very impressive to me and the fees were very doable on my limited salary. At the hearing (magistrate) he handled the situation and kept he from having to speak to the officer, which was appreciated. While I feel the citation was unjustified (who doesn't when they get a citation I guess) Mr. Mielnicki took a situation which could have been potentially bad and made it tolerable. Bringing the reckless driving citation down to a careless driving citation instead. Which was greatly appreciated. An email afterwards, he explained the points I would receive and eased some other anxiety I was experiencing about the ordeal. He is now helping me to get the reckless driving expunged from my driving record and will do the same in 5 years with the careless again at a very reasonable fee. Nobody wants to be put in the situation of needing an attorney and I never dreamed I would ever need one myself but Mr. Mielnicki's professionalism and experience was appreciated at a very stressful Time in my life.
