Failed to file necessary paper work in court and played dumb when I double checked with the court. I gave him another chance, stupidly. When I first talked to him he spent time with me and explained everything. After a few months, he got lazy, rude, and was overwhelmed with too many cases, and DOU...BLE BILLED ME 600.00. If I hadn't caught it, I would have been out the money. I fired him and he charged me a dollar a page for the paper work I had given him! He kept my file and CHARGED me to make the copies to give to my new attorney. Totally unprofessional about the whole process and got angry that I fired him and went with another attorney. I wish I had never met him.

I had a free phone consultation with Chuck Messina. He took 45 minutes listening to the details of my life and helping me understand my options. He gave decent advice and was genuine in his care. Although I'm not looking forward to having to use a lawyer, I am looking forward to having a lawyers t...hat cares enough to listen, rather than shuffle me in and out the door.

I have hired this attorney and this guy turned to be very unprofessional and lazy and unprepared.It took him forever to check all the papers and docs from my ex. I thought he was cheking all details very slowly and I thought carefully, but not. He missed a lot. More than twice we met in the court ...he was completely unprepared. I don’t know what he has doing, but he turns to be the worst attorney ever. Do not hire him and if you do you will be flashing your money in the toilet and you will go and hire anotther lawyer anyway.Be careful.

Mr. Messina has represented me for several years now. He was my third attorney but by far the best which is why I have stayed with him. For a number of years after my divorce I have unfortunately had ongoing matrimonial related legal issues which he has represented me for. He never pushes being overl...y litigious, and he will give you his advice and make recommendations as to what a reasonable course of action should be. He has excellent legal judgement and a tough negotiator, and comes very prepared to court. I have been to court with him regarding three Supreme Court matters before a Judge who has a reputation for being decidedly pro mother (I'm the father), and one Appellate Court matter and I have never lost. He works very hard, is reasonable, and doesn't try to "run up the bill" as I have experienced with the two attorneys prior to him. And he actually returns calls and emails which is a plus! Mr. Messina is an excellent matrimonial attorney and he will not disappoint.
