Biography
Melissa Pezzino is an attorney working in Tiveron Law’s Estates, Estate Planning, and Elder Law Department. Ms. Pezzino drafts Wills, Health Care Proxies, and Powers of Attorney for clients and then represents those estates in a compassionate and caring manner. Ms. Pezzino handles all aspects of probate and administration, from the initial petition to accounting proceedings, and finally the closing of estates in Surrogate’s Court.
Prior to joining Tiveron Law, Ms. Pezzino practiced law in the Western New York area for several years under her established law practice.
Ms. Pezzino received her Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo and received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oswego with a dual major in Psychology and Sociology.
Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Pezzino served as a social worker, assisting children and adults with severe mental illness. She has a particular interest and passion advocating for those with mental health diagnoses, both in and out of the courtroom. Ms. Pezzino strives to bring compassion and an understanding of the sensitive issues surrounding estate planning and handling the affairs of a loved one who has passed.

Abandoned her client
I’ve been try to communicate with Melissa and I get no response I moved to another state and still trying to communicate and even my new attorney is trying but no response at all she should of send her secretary to send note about what’s going on. So irresponsible!

I have tried to contact Miss Pezzino numerous times about my case and received no response. Very unprofessional. There has been no response for about 4 months now and I am supposed to be going to court soon.

Abandoned her client
We hired Ms. Pezzino to represent my daughter in her SSI case. I called her in February to let her know the hearing was in April and received no response. Doesn't return emails or phone calls
After a ssd denial, attempted several times to contact ms, pezzino via phone and email several times. Has not returned one. Becauae of this, my ssd case went past time to appeal. Thanks for nothing.

Appeal Blues
I'm in the same boat waiting on ssd appeal and never get any updates unless I call & that was maybe 2x. She doesn't return calls, emails no updates or info. Upset with this case & Jeffrey Freidman recommended!
