Biography
As an attorney in the real estate department, Ms. Letty oversees the everyday operations of all aspects of the real estate practice including buy/sell, mortgage and relocation, as well as becoming more involved in transactions that require litigation or attention beyond the normal closing. She is also the principal title insurance attorney who examines titles, prepares preliminary title reports, resolves title problems, and issues final title insurance policies through various title insurance agencies, in an effort to insure that our clients, whether they are purchasers or banks, are fully protected against adverse title claims that may arise as a consequence of their purchase or financing of a particular piece of real property.
In addition to the above, Ms. Letty assists other departments in the firm with regards to bankruptcy matters, evictions and collections. She appears extensively in Supreme, County, City and Local Courts, including Small Claims Courts in various jurisdictions, relative to collection matters, civil motions, contract disputes, foreclosures and evictions.
