Does not respond. Office staff is atrocious

I had an initial consultation with Heather Youngman in April of 2023 for what was to be an uncontested divorce. At that time I decided not to retain her as I didn't think their would be a need. Fast forward to a week ago and my ex has filed all kinds of crazy motions and and I needed to urgently reta...in her. I spoke with Jeff in her office who did at first provide a second consultation with an associate attorney at the firm. I was told that if I hadn't been served yet there was nothing they could do and to call them back this week. I tried for 2 days to get Jeff to have one of the attorneys call me so I could retain them. Jeff was extremely unprofessional and kept making promises to speak to the attorneys and call me back. He never did. Fortunately, I was able to get in contact with another attorney who immediately addressed my concerns and as is working with me on next steps in this difficult time. It is entirely possible that Heather Youngman is a competent attorney but do not expect her to be responsive.

Ryan, thank you for reaching out. I’m admittedly a little confused over your review. As noted, you consulted with me, but did not retain. You contacted us a few weeks later, when I was out on vacation, and the firm then offered you a same-day second consultation (free of charge) with one of my colleagues who advised you that your case was not yet ripe. I’m sorry we were unable to immediately schedule you for a third consultation when you reached back out again regarding new developments. I am glad you’ve found an attorney to help you with your matter and wish you the best moving forward.
