In my opinion, Peter Gerstenzang is without a doubt, the best DWI Attorney in the country. He handled my case with sheer professionalism, knowledge, kindness, and patience. He explained everything to me in detail as to what he was doing, and would never let the conversation end unless he was sure tha...t I understood his every word. He has a son named Joe, who is following in his footsteps and is like a clone of Peter, as far as being a phenominal lawyer, and a perfect gentleman. I know this may sound crazy, but Peter and Joe Getstenzang, made getting a DWI a wonderful experience for me. They are two of the finest gentlemen that I have ever met.

I contacted Peter after being accused of a second DWI offense, which in New York State, is a felony and a certain career-ender, as I am an attorney. I remembered his name from a seminar I attended years ago that he was teaching for attorneys regarding DWI defense. I mention the above as I believe it was the first time ever that an offender in my situation was able to avoid a felony conviction without jail time, if at all. This I attribute to Peter's knowledge and creativity in suggesting and fashioning such an approach. Peter saved my career. I can fully recommend Peter and his firm (his son Joseph and associate Jim Davis were also of great help). As a final footnote, through Peter's sharp insistence and the Attorney Assistance Program, I was able to put alcohol behind me for good, and am grateful for the freedom that has bestowed upon me.

I Googled "best dui lawyer in albany" Peter Gerstenzang came up, so I called and scheduled a meeting, when I got there I was told I would be seeing Jim Davis, I was a little concerned I wasn't seeing Peter but After meeting with Jim Davis I felt confident I was in the right place. Long story short, I... had planned on fighting the charges but Jim worked his magic and my charges were dropped to Reckless driving. Thanks Google I feel like I got the best DUI attorney in Albany!
