Christopher ("Chris") Luhn practices law primarily in New York's Capital Region, which is to say in the Upstate counties of Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Saratoga, and, oftentimes, in Warren and Washinton counties, as well. Chris moved to Saratoga Springs with his wife and two step-children Immediately after completing his law studies at the University of Baltimore School of Law in June 1985. After passing both the Maryland and the New York Bar exams, he began practicing exclusively in the field of personal injury trial law until August 2000 when he joined the New York State Attorney General's Civil Litigation Trial Bureau. After a time, though, Chris decided that he was more suited for private practice, leaving the AG's office to start his own "solo" practice from 1995 to 2000, and from 2008 to now, concentrating on civil litigation, Family Law, and vehicle and traffic cases. Now, Chris handles traffic ticket cases and select Family Law matters, including child custody and child support. Chris does NOT handle divorce cases. Every phone call is taken or returned personally by Mr. Luhn, giving all callers a 15-20 minute initial phone consultation at no charge. Mr. Luhn looks forward to hearing from you and providing you with personal and competent legal services at a fair price.

"I endorse this lawyer with pleasure. Chris is knowledgable, experienced, and the utmost professional."
"I have spoken to Chris a number of times regarding a legal matter that I was assisting him with in Illinois. I find Chris to be a very experienced and knowledgable attorney. I would confidently refer to Chris any of my clients that needed matters handled in New York. I endorse this lawyer."
"Chris is a focused and diligent advocate for his clients interests. He is well prepared for trial but is very creative when it comes for fashioning settlements which are mindful of the interests of the children of a family in transition. Also, he is one if the best attorneys for the child that I came to know during my 10 year term as a family court judge."
"I endorse this lawyer. Christopher is active in the legal community and well known to many of us. He offers great advice and experience to both clients and fellow attorneys. When he gives advice to fellow attorneys, I can only say "well said." He knows his stuff and where to go for areas outside his expertise. I have referred clients who were pleased with the experience."
