I found all of my communications with Laura to be honest, direct, professional and timely. My particular divorce case was not your average case and the 50/50 NYS no fault rule did not apply. Laura did a lot of extensive research of case study to determine what would be fair distribution under an extreme set of circumstances. I’m a Dad, and I did a thorough online search until I found Laura. I took my time to find the proper attorney for my case. My case was very difficult, had multiple aspects that needed careful attention by an extremely experienced litigator, not just an average lawyer. It is enough to state that m...y twin were not born yet when I started the divorce proceeding against a very manipulative wife, and I was seeking a sole custody of the twin for the entire time. My now Ex-wife made the already difficult case a complete mess. From filing multiple false family offense petitions in different counties, calling the CPS to file false reports, accusing a judge and the twin’s law-guardian as being biased and unethical. She will tell you the truth about your case, and how is the law will apply to it, not just what you want to hear. Her motions are short and focused, but thoroughly crafted and to the point. The opposing party couldn’t argue her rational, that’s how good she is as a litigator. She is an extremely ethical attorney and knows her stuff very well.
