JulieAnn joined Gleason, Dunn, Walsh & O'Shea in 2022, bringing her practice in the areas of elder law, guardianships, trusts and estates planning and administration, and special needs planning to the firm. Since graduating from Albany Law School in 2003, Julie has devoted her legal profession to these areas of law and is pleased to have joined a firm with various complimentary practice groups to enable her to more fully serve her clients. Julie came to law as her second career. After years in television and movie production, she moved onto a field where she could make an impact on individuals’ and family’s lives on a daily basis.
She is active in her community, serving on numerous Boards of charitable organizations, and is past Chair of the Elder Law & Special Needs Section of the New York State Bar Association. Julie lives in update New York with her husband, Jack, a fellow lawyer, and their two children. She is a ferocious hockey mom, and has surprised herself by becoming a horse-loving barn mother. She is eternally grateful to Jack for making her a part of Redsox Nation, and looks forward to the personal adventures that lie ahead for her and her family.
