I cannot say enough wonderful things about using La Toya James as an attorney in my custody/visitation case. Ms. James commands respect in the courtroom. She is well-known, respected and liked in the courts. My referee actually told me she has a tremendous respect for my attorney! You will see h...er very busy at the courts in and out of the courtrooms, but she smiles at you and you know it will be ok and you are not alone. (It can be very overwhelming in the courts) As busy as she is when you are next to her in the courts or talking with her on the phone you always feel like you are her only client. Ms. James will not give you false hope. She is well versed in the law and informs you of it, making sure you are informed before any decisions you may have to make. She has a way about her which is stern yet compassionate. She is very accessible to communicate with via: phone, text and email and responds promptly. I was so glad to have La Toya James as my attorney. On two separate occasions while I was with Ms. James people approached her for her card because they had been watching her during the day and liked the way she presents herself in the courts and when speaking with her clients. Her reputation as an authoritative and assertive attorney precedes her when asking around everyone said she is great and she was amazing to watch in action! When you have the right attorney it takes a lot of stress off of you!

I want to thank Latoya for putting in the work in family court for me. Fighting an ex in court for Child Support is not easy, its even harder when that ex has hidden assets and does not want to help you. Mrs. James was able to win my case for me after just one conversation with him. I got everything ...I asked for and more. I was skeptical at first, thinking I needed to hire a man to get respected and heard, but Mrs. James' presence in the entire court house showed that she is a woman that commands respect. She is well known and appreciated by many and it's because she is great at was she does!!

LaToya met with my wife and I recently regarding some child support/custody concerns we had with her child's other biological father, and LaToya was extremely pleasant, helpful, insightful, and honest. She explained everything we needed to know in an easy to comprehend way, and pointed us in the best... direction possible after hearing the facts. While we only consulted her, if necessary, we would definitely hire her! She put us at ease during a difficult time, we can't thank her enough for it!
