Biography
I am a Senior Associate at Futterman Lanza, LLP, focusing exclusively on personal injury law for more than 30 years. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals and families rebuild their lives after serious accidents. My approach combines compassion, fierce advocacy, and deep legal experience, ensuring every client receives the attention, respect, and results they deserve.
I represent clients in all types of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle, motorcycle, and bicycle accidents, fall-related injuries, wrongful death cases, and accidents involving seniors. I understand that every client’s story is unique, and I work closely with each person to pursue the maximum compensation for their injuries while providing guidance and support at every step of the process.
My work has been featured in the New York State Law Journal and the New York Jury Verdict Reporter, and I regularly write and speak on personal injury topics for professional audiences. Over the years, I’ve developed strong relationships with the local medical community, which allows me to better advocate for my clients’ recovery and care needs—particularly when representing older adults, who often face more serious complications after an accident.
Before joining Futterman Lanza, LLP, I served as Managing Attorney for Jacoby & Meyers’ Long Island Personal Injury Unit, overseeing cases throughout Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties. I also practiced for nearly two decades at other respected Long Island firms, handling thousands of cases through settlement, arbitration, and trial.
I am admitted to practice law in New York (1987) and Florida (1988), and I am an active member of the Nassau County, Suffolk County, and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Business Network International, and the Smithtown Chamber of Commerce.
