If A is for Awesome, Pete and his firm are an A+++
Having worked for many years at this company, we were suddenly confronted with a major re-organization/re-structure several months ago. Entire divisions were eliminated. Our division was put on notice for potential reduction/elimination. Some of us were targeted in ways which could compromise our ability to find new careers/positions elsewhere.
I consulted with Pete, and he was instrumental in guiding me towards the proper steps to address the entire process. He is thorough and personable. Embedding himself within the details to ensure the best of outcomes. I was coached and guided each step of the way. Pete treats every case as if it is the only one he manages. With a multifaceted approach, Pete ensures that he has plans and back-up plans to address changing dynamics and outcomes every step of the way. There is no one who will represent you in a more professional and personable manner than this man. I strongly recommend Pete and his firm and thank him for all his care, concern and hard work.
Mr. Famighetti did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and I was always kept up to date on the details of our matter. I appreciate the attentiveness and the time taken to explain each step and answer any questions I had during the process. I would absolutely recommend Mr. Famighetti and his firm Famighetti & Weinick to anyone.
I am a passionate and dedicated advocate. I have represented clients in various forums, including the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Disrtricts of New York, as well as in New York State Courts throughout the region. Throughout my career that has spanned more than a decade, I have served as a defendants' and plaintiffs' counsel in single and class action employment and civil rights related litigation. Additionally, I have appeared extensively in cases before arbitration tribunals and administrative agencies, including the New York State Division of Human Rights, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York City's Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, amongst others.
Prior to entering private practice, I served as a Deputy County Attorney at the Office of the Nassau County Attorney. During my tenure as a Deputy County Attorney, I represented the County of Nassau and the County's various departments and agencies in employment and labor related matters. Subsequent to my public service and immediately prior to founding Famighetti & Weinick, I was employed as a senior associate at one of Long Island's and New York City's highly regarded employment and civil rights law firms, handling and managing a complex caseload.

Couldn't have asked for better
Because of Peters hard work and dedication to my case, I was able to sleep at night. This was one of the hardest times in my life and because of Peter I felt safe and taken care of. I understood everything that was happening throughout the entire litigation process, and any questions I had he answered day or night! I would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is dealing with any type of employment issue or civil rights issue. He was hands down the perfect fit for my case and I could not have been happier with the outcome. Thank you again, Peter.

Peter Famighetti, Esq.
Mr. Famighetti is an excellent attorney; very knowledgeable of the law. More importantly, when I needed to speak with him, I actually spoke to him and not his secretary or paralegal. I would highly recommend Mr. Famighetti’s services.
