I used Gail Kenowitz as my attorney in my recent divorce, on the recommendation of a psychotherapist friend who had witnessed Gail 'cut through the nonsense' with other high conflict divorces. Her collegial relationships within the court system probably helped , as she was able to reliably set my expectations at every stage in the process. Gail created an individualized divorce agreement that was very specific to our situation. She was thoughtful and thorough in drafting our agreement, and I believe this will prevent future conflict. I had originally spoken with Ms. Kenowitz regarding my separation from my husband of 14 years in the spring of 2012. The separation became an official divorce this past summer. I used Ms. Kenowitz Esq. in 2002 for my divorce hearing. She was both professional and knowledgeable. In 2010 I began another hearing with family court for monies due to me and my stipulation. Many people asked "How was I able to receive this?" I said my lawyer got it for me. She looked into the... future of my children. There school all the way to college. They were only 8 and 6 at the time divorce. Thanks Gail again for a job well done. When we go through divorce it is stressful and never look beyond getting it over with. We don't consider the future of the divorce for ourselves or our children. She did all that for me. She made me realize go beyond today thing future plans.
