Great Attorney! Long Islands divorce attorney's best kept secret!

Michael was an excellent attorney who helped me through a very difficult divorce with my very unreasonable ex wife. When Michael wasn't able to get me a quick , amicable and fair settlement, he began a more aggressive approach to my divorce. Michael began to slowly wear down my-ex and he finally help...ed me get settlement that I was pleased with. Michael knows divorce law and knows how to strategize against his adversaries to bring them to their knees when they are not amicable. His legal paperwork is also impeccable . Michael was pretty much superior to my wife's lawyer in every way from his professionalism to his litigation strategies. Michael is always available to speak with and always makes you feel your case is very important to him. Michael is knowable is ALL areas of divorce and custody and I would strongly recommend just about anyone in any situation to him.

Happily divorced

I used Michael for my divorce. He was my second attorney and what a difference he made from the first attorney. Whenever I called Michael he always either answered his phone or got back to me right away. He fought very hard for me and got my case settled as quick as he could. He also didn't bill me f...or every minute he could. I called him many times to ask him questions and he answered my questions and spent time on the phone with me and didn't chsrge me a penny. He made a difficult time much easier for me.

Excellent, Honest, and Detailed-oriented

There is not enough good I can say about how well Michael Cohen handled my divorce case. He was timely, available, and efficient. The paperwork he produced was impeccable, he was the second lawyer I hired to handle my divorce and changing lawyers was the best decision I could have made. He never ma...de promises that he could not keep and was always honest as to what was worth me fighting for and what to expect on a "good day" and a "bad day" in court. Luckily, he was so amazing in court I seemed to always attain my "good day" scenario. My ex-husband and his lawyer hated facing Michael in court and I am certain that helped us arrive at a settlement in a timely manner (my entire divorce from when I hired Michael until we signed an agreement was less than five months). As long as your follow his directions, you will be pleased.

Outstanding

Over the years, I won some and lost some in my divorce case, but Michael was always honest, responsive and knowledgeable. He didn't just tell me what I wanted to hear. However, he is also excellent and very effective in the courtroom. Michael always told me when he thought we did not have a good s...hot, so I never had my hopes up during those issues. I was well informed. The court system is not great, but Michael is awesome. He knows his way around the system and he will tell you when he thinks you would be wasting your money to pursue some issues.
