Jackie has been a god send to me!! I have been through HELL in a 3 and half year long divorce nightmare against my ex. My ex used the flawed court system and so called “experts” to wear me down emotionally and financially. He drained half our marital assets in litigation alone. It is beyond human ...comprehension the lies and manipulation tactics I had to fight. Depositions, countless motions, an appeal, custody mediation, custody evaluation, appraisal of a business, court appointments… On top of it all, my previous attorney was even WORSE than my ex. Instead of helping me settle the case, he turned against ME in the end, and bullied me to settle for far less than I was entitled to. Apart from being financially vulnerable, taking care of 3 kids and living month to month without child support, I had to fight both my ex and my corrupt former attorney and their constant mind games. My former attorney took complete advantage of my personal situation and abandoned me when I needed him most. After receiving a 170k counsel fee award in my favor, he filed an order to be relieved from the court and arbitration papers against me after receiving his counsel fees, some of which were ordered to be kept in escrow. Needless to say when I retained Jackie, I was skeptical of all lawyers and the court process. So many lawyers are self-interested and file unnecessary motions to prolong litigation. Jackie is a consummate professional, understands the complexities of a case, and will get to the root of the matter to expedite a positive outcome for all involved. Not only has she helped me in settling my 3 and half year protracted divorce in 4 months, she is going after my previous attorney for violating the court order. Jackie understands how to deal with high conflict personalities and reduce contention in divorce. She is sympathetic of the families involved and she is guided by a moral compass, not the money. My advice: hire Jackie before your spouse does!!!!. I wanted to go to her with my husband as a mediator but he refused. So I hired Jackie to represent me. It was the best decision I ever made. She kept me calm throughout the process and I found her to be very knowledgeable. My husband never hired a l...awyer, but his brother helped him and Jackie was respectful and easy to work with. Our case was pretty simple. We settled our case out of court and I couldn’t be happier.

After consultations with several other attorneys, it was apparent within minutes of meeting her that Ms. Harounian was vastly superior. Jackie was retained to handle the buy out of marital house. I signed all appropriate paperwork in her office. My ex never signed to release escrow check to me without my knowledge I wanted a closing with all parties there but never happened. So I moved out signed agreement, signed deed over to my... ex, gave key but my ex never signed so the check was never released to me. Jackie is still holding escrow and charging me $3,500 for handling check for 2 years. I have no money no house. I don't think she knows what she's doing. And I am homeless
