I hired Judy to handle a home purchase. It all worked out in the end but looking back I wouldn’t have hired her. As a first-time homebuyer, I was naturally cautious and nervous. Handing over huge sums of money to buy a home is never easy. I feel Judy made things worse on some levels. First, she seeme...d a little disorganized. The contract I received plus the rider was full of errors (including the wrong names!) that she didn’t see and that I had to point out. Second, technically speaking I didn’t feel safe passing private and sensitive documents back and forth over email. Her company did not have a secure server with which to transfer these files that contain private information. In fact, we were exchanging emails and I was receiving some from an AOL account. AOL. Another thing that bothered me was her general attitude. She spoke quickly and when I would contact her to ask for clarification about something, she often seemed irritated. I was paying her for legal counsel but often felt rushed and like I was not a priority despite being a client. She also often spoke in legalese which, for anyone not in that world, is just not easy to understand. Not everyone has that education which is why we hire lawyers to hopefully help explain things in normal English. She complained about stupid things like the location of the closing which I had no control over. I know this isn’t a white shoe firm but a little more professionalism overall would have been appreciated.

Judy worked with me as I went through the process of purchasing my first home. Ms Mock is full of knowledge. She provided facts and options for our parents' Medicaid application requirements. She was prepared for our meeting and straightforward. She explained each option with detailed information. We reached out to her after the meeting with follow-up questions and she promptl...y replied back the same day. Would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

Judy was our attorney twice when we purchased our homes. We continued to hire her because of her professionalism and dedication. She is super good at what she is doing, quick on coming up with solutions if anything unexpected occurs, very straightforward, and most of all, she "fights" for her clients... efficiently and professionally.
