This is my third time working with Judy Mock. I will continue to work with Judy and her team because of her caring commitment to her clients and her expert knowledge of the law and legal issues around Advanced Directives and Real Estate purchases and sales. She advises you and make certain you unders...tand the language in each piece of the paper before they are signed. She uses real life experiences as examples to create a greater understanding. Judy helped my family create a Trust - but before I get into that, I should say she came recommended by a colleague of mine who hired her to create a Will. I asked him why he chose Judy over the other lawyers he consulted with and what his experience was with her - his answer was that: "She gives go...od tips, is sharp, and her office team are on top of things (all the documentation and paperwork)." After having worked with Judy, I can agree with my colleague's assessment. I would especially echo the point about Judy's good tips. I feel like she went above and beyond for me, teaching me what was best for my situation instead of just doing what is bare bones sufficient. I would go as far as saying that Judy comes across as a person who cares about the wellbeing of her client. I will also add one thing: Judy, because of her years of experience, has an extensive network of people in high places, which is definitely a bonus. She has good relationships with a property settlement company so it made the process of the documentation literally as simple as me coming to the office and signing papers - she took care of the rest. She connected me with a regional director at a bank, so when I needed work done on a checking account I was passed onto a high level manager and it was a breeze. Another bonus is that she can speak Cantonese fluently, which saved me around $1000 from needing to hire a translation service for my mother. Lastly, I would say Judy is someone with empathy and a good conscience. And she speaks with you like a regular person would. I very much intend to hire Judy again for my next legal needs in the future. P.S. - her consultations are very detailed as she reviews your personal situation and documentation.

After having initial consultations with 3 different attorneys I chose Judy Mock because I was really impressed with her responsiveness and organization. I highly recommend Judy Mock! She made my first time home buyer experience as smooth as silk! I am a first time home buyer in New York and was in for lots of surprises. The first being the need to have an attorney to represent me to close on a house. Soon after I had my offer accepted, I had to fi...nd an attorney to work with me with the contracts and closing. I met Judy from a referral by my employer’s MetLife/Hyatt Legal Plan and on the first phone call to her back in September, I immediately knew that she would be able to take me through this home buying adventure. Although she gets paid a fraction of her fees through such legal plans, she still treated me like all of her other private clients. She delivered her legal services with such attention to detail and compassion throughout this process. With patience and empathy, Judy walked me through the process of signing the initial contract and answered all the questions I had. She added riders that would protect me in case the sellers had any outstanding issues in addition to Covid riders in case something happened to me. This gave me peace of mind in signing the contract. Judy also gave me invaluable advice on what interest rates I should be expecting from my mortgage and I was able to secure one of the best rates on the market. Once my mortgage was in place, she coordinated with my mortgage broker, the seller, the seller’s attorney, the banker’s attorney, and the title company on the final closing date. Judy did all of that coordination and all I had to do was show up, sign, and pick up my keys. During the actual closing, she (and everyone else) showed up on time and we finished the entire closing in 45 minutes. She went through all of the paperwork with such precision and attention to detail that I truly felt blessed to have such an amazing lawyer work with me through this process. Overall, I definitely recommend Judy for anyone who needs help with any real estate law cases. Based on this experience, I’m sure she is just as amazing in all of her other law cases as well (criminal defense, commercial, business, etc.). I have a hyatt legal plan through my job and I am so happy I selected Judy to create my will and directives. She's very hands on, proactive, detailed, thoughtful and responds quickly. First step I completed a questionnaire which simplified the process and covered all grounds, things that I was not a...ware of. She went through everything, explained it in detail and was so patient in answering my myriad of questions. She was empathetic to my situation (I have an estranged family) and advised me in my best interest based on my specific needs and what I wanted. I doubt I would have received the same level of service and attention elsewhere.
