Charles Angelo Petitto

My husband and I went to Mr. Petitto to prepare our wills and other estate planning documents and couldn't be happier with the service we received. Not only were his rates reasonable, he made sure we understand all our options regarding estate planning and reccomended the best options for our situati...on. Any time me or my husband would call with a concern or question, we would receive a call back in a reasonable amount of time. Mr. Petittto is extremely professional and at all times treated us with the utmost respect. His dedication to his job was evident from the get go. We highly reccomend Mr. Petitto to everyone.

When a "luxury" management co. sued me for eviction when we were forced to leave our apt and furniture behind due to bedbugs after a four month losing battle (they lied on the bed bug disclosure) we hired Mr. Petitto to submit a motion to dismiss (since he told me they could not have two cases on the... same matter and we filed first with another attorney who recommended him). My daughter and I travelled to NYC Housing Court from a temp place near Philly to answer ourselves. We hired Mr. Petitto after that. All he had to do was write the petition and go to court March 1st! He NEVER SHOWED UP AT THE HEARING and I had a judgment placed against me!!! After texting him several times this week asking how the hearing went, I called the court and they told me he didn't appear! DON'T DO IT! He kept reassuring me he'd take care of my daughter and I and not to worry. DON'T!!!!!!

I am sorry, but Mr. Charles P is that nightmare attorney you only seem to read about. Mr. Charles was recommended by a friend as an aggressive lawyer that knows the landscape. My friend remarked that "he (Petitto) consistently gets evictions thrown out" on his behalf. This friend is constantly bac...ked up and overextended- Anyway, right out the gate Charles P was aggressive alright... in getting his fees up front. promised the world and on the day of the hearing I come to find out he never even filed our paperwork with the court (answering the landlords complaint) all while standing in front of the judge. The judge further confirmed my suspicions of Petitto by referring to his "antics" and further by suggesting I seek someone else to represent me versus my landlord. At the very worst, Charles Petitto is incompetent, at the very best he's unprofessional and his lack of professionalism came directly at my expense. And its why I feel compelled to share. My brother and I had a very disgruntled tenant who had a personal vendetta against me and my family. I hired Mr.Petitto and nothing but the best results had came out of this case. The tenant left and has not been heard of since. Mr. Pettito kept my brother and I very well informed and we felt that we... we're in good hands; which we were. Mr. Petitto dedicated his time, applied his skills, and last but not least got the job done both in an orderly fashion as well as a very respectable manner in regards to his treatment of myself and my family. Life is much smoother now since Mr. Petitto handled our case and because of this we would recommend him to anyone who needs an attorney who cuts to the chase and gets the job done!

Mr. Petitto has handled quite a number of holdover proceedings for me. The cases generally go smoothly - some ending with inquest, but most ending with signed stipulations. Some of the context for some of the cases weren't simple. But any time I needed advice or clarification as to the proper proc...edure or just to understand both my rights as well as the people I'm taking to court, he was usually just a txt msg away. In the event that a situation couldn't be explained via txt, I'd call him or he'd call me and we'd discuss it until I understood. Contrary to some of my experiences with other attorneys, I never had a problem with his returning my calls. I find that Mr. Petitto takes his job seriously and approaches his work as though he has a personal stake in the outcome. Sometimes I'll even find that Mr. Petitto's working on my case and providing updates even after he's left the office for the day - even sometimes on the weekend. To me, that shows dedication. I have, and continue to recommend Mr. Petitto to family and friends seeking representation.
