Disappointed and confused

My experience with James Meadows was disappointing! I used his services before I which he got a case for me DISMISSED also I was excited to go to him again and retain him for his services on a ticket in Brooklyn worth 2 points. I contacted him after the hearing and he told me HE NEVER APPEARED becaus...e the Judge assigned to the trial was a judge that “would of convicted me regardless” ! I was confused and hurt then he urged me to just plead guilty and pay the fine !! And he would refund me my money back ..I was disappointed because I expected him to still try to fight my ticket and try to win but to NOT SHOW and try to urge to me pay the fine and get the points because he was basically intimidated by the Judge was ridiculous!! I guess you never know with him

THIS SHOULD BE A 6 STAR REVIEW! I beat this person’s old case (Dora J.…published publicly on Yelp) and she hired me for her new case (2 point ticket). On the day of her hearing for this new ticket, officer showed up and there was a tough judge…almost certain would be a guilty verdict. Instead of going forward, I withheld the case and explained to the client that I either I will be able to get another date or client should plead guilty and I will refund. Client stated that she would want a refund immediately and she will handle. I immediately issued a full refund notwithstanding working on this case...and here we are now. Not a justified 1 star as I have done absolutely nothing wrong except win her other ticket (much more serious ticket) and looked out for the client’s best interest in the second ticket. Please look at my 900+ Google reviews, my 150+ Yelp and my 200+ AVVO reviews and not just an unjustified review by an ungrateful Dora J.

The Best in NYC

I highly recommend Mr. Medows. As a 19 yr old, I received a speeding ticket along with an unsafe lane change violation. I was facing 9 points on my license. After reading reviews online and meeting Mr. Medows, I was confident my case was in good hands. He was able to get my case dismissed. Mr. Medows... is an honest, punctual, and exceptional lawyer.

LIfe Saver Hire Mr. Medows No Regrets!!!

James Medows is a God send. I was caught going 55 in a 25 MPH zone on Springfield Blvd. I had just started a new job and wasn't trying to be late on one of my first days. I got caught by an unmarked police vehicle with a speed radar. This happened june of 2015. The ticket was $300 and i was going to... receive 6 points on my license. I was terrified that my insurance was going to raise and my parents were going to kill me (im 22 by the way), so I did some researching online. I found great reviews on many lawyers but i was drawn to Mr.Medows. I contacted him and he was very professional and told me what was going to happen. He told me his price (which was very very reasonable), i agreed to it and signed a contract with him. The plan was to postpone the court hearing in hopes that the officer wouldn't show. Mr. Medows was able to postpone the case 3 times and the officer showed every time. I dont know what Mr. Medows said during that hearing but i was found not guilty and didnt have to pay the $300 and didnt receive a single point on my license. During this six month process Mr. Medows kept me updated on the case and showed up to every case on my behalf. He sent text as well as called. He always responded when i sent him texts even during the holidays. I am glad that i hired him and anyone looking for a lawyer dont even waste your time with anyone else.

Excellent Lawyer!

Mr. Medows is a man of his word, He is a straight shooter and does his job very well. I called up Mr. Medows one day before my court date, on a Thursday evening, I informed Mr. Medows about the situation I was in and told me that at the moment he was very busy. Despite being a busy man, Mr. Medows fo...und time in his schedule, that same night, to meet up with me from 11 to 12 o'clock midnight. And so he did. Mr. Medows introduced himself in a kindly matter, briefly explained to me how well of a job he does, and, from there; he went on and explained to me how everything was going to work out. On the day of my court date, Mr Medows showed up ahead of time and was well prepared. Went in and out of the court room, took no more than 4 minutes. Kept his word with me; no criminal record, no community service. Only had to pay a small fine, which was perfectly fine with me. Thank you James!

Charged with 6 Misdeameanors, retained James Medows and walked away without a criminal record !

I was going through the worse time of my life. I was charged with 6 misdemeanors. I retained Mr Medows and he immediately began to work on my case. As A result of my arrest, I was facing the loss of my teaching license, my house, my car and everything else :( Mr Meadows was able to negotiate a deal w...here I walked away with a non-criminal violation and NO criminal record. Mr Medows is sharp, knowledgeable and has great oratorical skills. Additionally he has great rapport with his colleagues (Judges, DA's etc). James Medows is highly professional, respectful and compassionate. He will work hard on your case and call/text you updates and answer all of your questions. Mr Meadows was able to get me a earlier court date and my case was resolved quickly and I am moving forward with my life. James Medows restored my livelihood. I highly recommend him. His rate is reasonable and he will work hard to get you a favorable disposition. I cannot thank James Medows enough for his hard work and dedication with regard to my case!
