Absolutely Fantastic

Hire him!! He is absolutely fantastic! He has a rather calm approach to his clients, which is extremely helpful in stressful court situations. He had great communication throughout the process. An Empathetic Lawyer does exist

I hired Mr. Scheinman about 3 years ago to handle my divorce and also for the purchase of my home. He was professional and showed me all my options. It was a very stressful divorce and he couldn't have been more empathetic. I never expected a lawyer to have a "human" side but he genuinely has a good heart and doesn't treat his clients like just a paycheck. If you need someone who knows what they're doing and is actually responsive to emails and calls etc. and works with you for your benefit and not just their own, HIRE HIM. He made my life so much easier in dealing with my whole mess. I even went as far to recommend Mr. Scheinman to my Ex-husband in his future divorces. He knows his stuff. As for the Real Estate side, he did an amazing job also. I can't thank him enough for walking me through the whole transaction.

One of the best lawyers in NY

Mr. Scheinman is easy to talk to and took a real interest in my case. My ex was being irrational and asking the Court for additional money that I didn't think was fair. The Judge was originally on the side of my ex but Doug battled hard and poked holes in her case. In the end we were successful and this would not have happened if Mr. Scheinman didn't fight for my rights. I hope I never have to go to through this again, but if I did, I would want Mr. Scheinman in my corner.

When I went to see Doug Scheinman for my divorce I did not know what to expect. Not only was he affordable and knowledgeable but he was always honest with me throughout this whole process. Not to mention he was extremely friendly and understanding of all of my fears and worries. Hassle free divorce

This firm was extremely accommodating and made a difficult time very smooth. This was my first time inquiring about legal services and they were very knowledgeable and patient with me through the whole process. I was kept informed through out and notified about each update without having to call them. They work very fast and were professional and kind every step of the way.
