#1!!!

Before contacting Mr. Medows, I was skeptical about even trying to fight my ticket, especially after reading that it’s nearly impossible to win in Staten Island. I had never received a speeding ticket before, so I was completely bummed to find out I got one in the toughest district to beat them. I... reached out to three different law offices to understand their experience and approach. The first one felt like a “lawyer factory” with an 800 number. They couldn’t tell me who would actually represent me, and although they claimed a 90% win rate, they admitted they had no specific data on traffic ticket success in Staten Island. Mr. Medows was the second lawyer I called and I immediately appreciated how direct, honest, and purposeful he was. He didn’t sugarcoat how hard it is to win in that district, and he didn’t waste my time with vague promises. SCAM ARTIST

I notified James meadows on January 3, 2025 regarding my court appearance on 1/7 yes a few days away. During my consultation I was very transparent on the short notice and that I have been fighting my case since 2021 and was rescheduled 3 times and unable to reschedule again. I wanted to know if ...at this point it made any sense to hire him or if I was better off on my own. In response he told me that without him I’m a fish in the water. So I told him I will proceed and he responded by saying “great, I would love to take your money” which I found weird. Let me tell you all that’s exactly what he did. He appeared on my behalf and I paid him 415$ to do absolutely nothing. Not only was I found guilty for both tickets (red light and driving with suspended license) I got 3 points on my license and 1k in fines. His response was he was unable to get it rescheduled and ny doesn’t plead bargain. Which was what I already told him since the beginning he used against me. I hope everyone reading this I can save them the hassle and a few bucks. Do not hire this man he will scam you. I’m sure he will respond trying to defend his actions of course but believe me when I say DO NO RETAIN THIS LAWFIRM you will regret it and loose your money. BTW HE DID NOT REPRESENT ME SNOTJER ATTORNEY DID.

RUBBISH: This person is a sore loser plain and simple. This troll has also posted the same negativity on other social media too (yikes!). This person hired me right before her hearing, and I explained to her on the phone, in writing that there are no guarantees, NYC doesn’t plea bargain and all I can do is my best. To call me a scam artist is insulting and I am debating suing this person for stating that I did not cover this person’s case and that I am a scam artist.
