We are so lucky to have been referred to Terrance as our lawyer. From the first property to the one we ended up closing on over a year later he was incredibly helpful and beyond patient with the entire process. Being new home buyers we had a lot of questions and Terrance always took the time to answe...r them even during our house search. This is just the nature of a great lawyer going above and beyond and we really appreciated it. We truly felt like he had our best interests at heart and explained the contracts and situations in detail so we understood everything we needed to and weren't blind sighted by anything. I would recommend him to anyone buying/selling a home!

I was given Terrance Dougherty as my attorney for a house I was purchasing. Was super professional when we first met to go through the process. Once we were in the process, I got very little contact from him. Everything I was supposed to know about the contract or any process in purchasing the house,... I had to do self research. I was always told to do signings after the due date had passed. Even with that, I had not changed attorneys which was probably my mistake. I just wanted to get everything out of the way and purchase the house so during closing, he kept the explanations to a minimum and was on his phone 90% of the time rather than explain what I (his client) am signing. I felt blindsided. Once the closing was done, there were problems with the house and I have contacted Terrance numerous times but he would just ignore me or would reply as short as possible once in a while. I just felt like once he got his pay from me, I was thrown aside with no assistance whatsoever. I really advise he would be more professional in the future and not treat his clients the way he treated me.
