After three and a half years with another attorney and my case going nowhere, I knew I had to do something else. I hired Kim. Due to my case dragging on for so long, only a couple weeks after hiring Kim, the court called her and said they were denying any further adjournments in my case and either ...we had to have a settlement in four days or proceed to trial. After having worked on an agreement with my former attorney for nearly a year without it reaching completion, and the thought of Kim having to possibly go to trial for me in a matter of days if we couldn't settle, I panicked and thought how could she possibly make this happen on such short notice. Kim was very calm about the whole thing and assured me we would get it done and all would be fine. She delivered on everything she said she would and went above and beyond. She is extremely knowledgable on the law, efficient, compassionate and just a nice person in general. She kept me up to date on everything and never left me hanging or wondering what was going on. I can't say enough good things about her and am so appreciative of what she did for me. If you need a family law attorney, look no further and don't think twice. Divorce is stressful enough. Finding the perfect lawyer is even more stressful. After much research on my own, coupled with referrals, I landed myself in Kim Cardalena's office. I found her to be compassionate, fair, and real. She was very realistic of any obstacles I may face and kept my expectation...s in check. I wasn't going to end up with a Mansion nor a summer home in Italy but I was promised an agreement that I would find favorable and fair. I found Kim to be extremely knowledgeable in the law, court system, expectations in how judges would rule and the overall process. Kim is very warm, compassionate, outgoing and she was a great advocate for me in my divorce. She understands the financial and emotional strains one faces under these circumstances and managed to comfort me during the entire process. She was constantly updating me on the progress and would respond immediately to any inquiries I had. She was a pleasure to work with and I'd highly recommend her. Hopefully, I won't need her again down the road lol.
