Glenn Warren Magnell

I was recently pulled over in Chester Town for "following too closely." Driver of Toyota Prius decided he could drive in the left lane under the legal State Speed Limit - typical Prius driver. I found Mr. Magnell's law office online, read reviews and contacted him immediately. I had been hit with an absurdly unfair ticket—after waiting at a rail road crossing for two trains to pass and for the barrier to raise, I was pulled over. The cop acknowledged that “although it was ALMOST fully raised”, it needed to be perfectly vertical. I was driving a large SUV—traffic was backed... up waiting—clearly there was no risk. I can’t imagine that any driver with a line of cars behind him would have thought to wait until the barrier was actually vertical. The ticket was for a very hefty fine plus FIVE POINTS on my otherwise untarnished license. I should point out that it was in the Bedford court system, which apparently is notoriously unforgiving. From the moment I called Magnell’s office, Kate immediately put me at ease and made the whole situation less horrible. They made no extravagant promises (especially because of the court in question), but actually worked miracles, saving me from a very unjust penalty that would have affected my insurance rates for years to come. While I was still required to pay a lesser fine, this firm made this whole experience far less painful. As soon as I placed the matter in their hands, I felt incredible relief. Unfortunately I received 2 speeding tickets this fall, one on the Taconic Parkway driving back late from a trip to Canada, and the other up near Cooperstown. I found the Magnell law firm online as they specialized in tickets from Fishkill, They were incredibly professional, kept me posted along the... way and amazingly had both tickets reduced to non-moving violations. They warned me that this might not be easy, esp in Fishkill, but they were able to reduce both. All of the discussions were via email (maybe one call) and so it was very convenient also. Cannot recommend them enough--while I had to pay the fines (appropriate), they saved me points which would have cost me hundreds or even thousands.

I was doing 82 mph in a 60 mph zone, as well as my girlfriend who was following me in her car when we were pulled over and given these tickets by state troopers in Liberty, NY.
