I am a disabled senior who lives on a fixed income. I had called many lawyers before I finally decided on Gretchen Mullins Kim. She immediately sounded like a human being who was genuinely concerned with my issue and immediately put me at ease about finances and arranging meeting times and scheduli...ng which would accommodate my health needs and physical limitations. I needed a legal name change which would involve the Supreme Court, getting court orders, filing multiple petitions, contacting newspapers with publishing the changes for me. It also involved corrections on a birth certificate and going down to the Depart of Health and doing all the leg work for me. I also appreciated how she was fair about her billing in comparison to the lawyers with whom I had spoken previously. They did not have personality or even attempt or pretend that they were more concerned about my situation rather than their own finances. She kept in constant contact with me thru emails and personal phone calls to assure me that it would not take too long and that she would do her best to expedite the process. You see I also needed to apply for the Real ID drivers license upgrade and all the paperwork had to be completed in a timely manner before my deadline. It is only a few months and all of the elements of my situation have been resolved and completed. She made sure that she purchased all the necessary copies of paperwork for me so that I was well-equipped to accomplish what I needed to do. I was able to pay for her services which were nicely spaced and timed so that I could meet my legal financial commitments.
