Gretchen recently helped our family through a complex and emotional legal matter. We found Gretchen by reference after leaving another large "fancy" and expensive law firm which was not giving our case any proactive thought despite the enormous bills, which was causing great anxiety. Gretchen quick...ly jumped in, got up to speed on the entire history of the case file, gave us her point of view on how to handle things and did so with great diligence to the law, great compassion for the people involved and great efficiency. She accomplished more in a couple of months than we had been able to achieve in a year with the big firm. But she is also an honest and empathetic human who tells you what you need to hear (even when its not in your favor) in a way that helps you understand all the legal issues so you can make an informed decision. She is truly about helping the client achieve their goals - not about wracking up bills or prolonging processes. Best lawyer ever. I’ve never felt more cared for by any professional in my entire life, and that is an understatement. When you are in distress it’s difficult to think clearly and calmly and that, in addition to understanding complicated laws, complicates matters even more. However, I was so relieve...d when I first met with her. Gretchen KNOWS THE MATRIMONIAL LAWS like no other attorney.
