I retained the Acocella Law Group to support me in avoiding foreclosure and obtaining a mortgage modification after attempting unsuccessfully to wok with my mortgage lender for three months. I am an experienced Project Manager and Systems Engineer and know how to negotiate, facilitate teams and perf...orm expert research, but my mortgage lender was still unwilling to negotiate with me or "get the ball rolling" after a three-way conference call with HUD. It was at this point, that I began working with Acocella Law Group. My first point of contact, and the Service Representative and lead for the entire process for my mortgage modification was Howard. Howard was available via land line or cell phone and answered any questions - with accurate information mixed with reassurance - during my fact gathering stage. I am in the mother of a 12-year old and a long-time engineer and professional. I lost my job as an engineer and project manager due to a reduction-in-force at my long-time employer. A decision to not relocate in Washington D.C. - I wanted to keep my daughter at home in a stable environment, caused my income to be drastically reduced. After another lawyer failed to show up in court to defend our foreclosure action, I approached Frank. He stepped in and made a difference immediately. His sympathetic/understanding approach and good interpersonal skills made us feel better about our situation from the moment we discussed our proble...ms with him. Frank clearly understands the foreclosure field and was able to keep us in our home for several years while he kept the bank at bay. I am now working with Frank on another real estate transaction. I contacted the Acocella Law group about 5 months ago to see if they could help us with a home loan modicfication. I will admit that I was quite skeptical after dealing with other so called home modification lawyers. When I called I talked to Howard Leeds, who I believe was in there customer servi...ce department. I expressed my concerns about hiring another lawyer and he understood. Howard never pressured us to hurry up and sign up. As a matter of fact he gave me his personal cell phone number and told me to call any time which I did, several times. After a couple of weeks my wife and I decided to go ahead and sign up. We were 4 months behind on our mortgage, and getting foreclosure notices. Our interest rate was 8.25% and our payment with taxes and insurance was $3,025.00. Within two months and two weeks a representative from Acocella notified us that our mortgage company had accepted there offer for a modification and gave us a new payment of $1,231.00 with an interest rate of just over 2%. I tell you the truth I have never written a review for anything, but after this happened for us I needed to let other people out there with the weight of the world on there shoulders facing foreclosure that this company is NOT, I repeat NOT a scam. They helped save us $1,800.00 a month on our mortgage.

I'd like to thank the entire staff for all they did for me with my loan re-modification . Especially lisa deluca , Candice Watkins and josh verillo. I can't believe my mortgage was cut in half and now my rate is 2%. I'm very happy with the service and don't really have any negatives to mention . it ...can be a little hard to get them on the phone but I had my daughter email them and they got right back to me. I'm happy and grateful and I'm going to recommend the service to my friends in need.
