The Warshawsky Law Firm provides sophisticated employment law representation to professionals, executives, hourly employees, and businesses, covering the full range of workplace issues and disputes. We primarily represent clients in the New York City metropolitan area, including Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties, but we handle cases throughout the State of New York. In 2023, our practice expanded to the State of Connecticut. We have handled cases in several other states on a pro hac vice basis
We handle all workplace issues, including wrongful termination, sexual harassment and hostile work environment, discrimination and retaliation, minimum wage and overtime rights, family and medical leave, employment contracts and non-compete agreements, and layoffs and severance agreements.
Our practice focuses primarily on federal court litigation, but we also handle cases in state courts, before government agencies, and at arbitration proceedings. Unlike many lawyers who have never seen the inside of a courtroom, we are true trial and appellate lawyers who have successfully represented clients in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations, and appeals.
The founder and principal of the firm is Steven M. Warshawsky. In his career, Mr. Warshawsky has served as an Assistant United States Attorney, an associate at prestigious national law firms, and a law clerk to federal judges. He possesses outstanding academic and professional qualifications, strong written and oral advocacy skills, an exceptional work ethic, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of lawyering.
Mr. Warshawsky has tried numerous cases to verdict in federal courts in New York and Washington, D.C. He has briefed and argued numerous appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals. He has represented Fortune 500 companies, chief executives, and senior government officials. He has litigated complex and cutting edge legal issues. His scholarly articles have been cited by courts in New York, California, and Texas, and by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

Most selfless lawyer ever
I had a dispute with my previous employer and I talked to literally dozens of lawyers. Mr Warshawsky is by far the best one. When you talk to an employment lawyer for anything other than harassment, discrimination etc, he would usually send you away because those are the juicy cases where lawyer...
