David Samuel Schwartz

David Samuel Schwartz is the founding member of David S. Schwartz Law, PLLC. David is licensed to practice law in the State of New York as well as the Federal District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He obtained his law degree from Villanova University School of Law.

​During his career, David has worked for the District Attorney's Office, large national firms, and smaller specialized firms. He has litigated numerous cases in court, in arbitration, and in quasi-judicial hearings. David has focused his career on the areas of employment law and trademark and copyright matters, and has also handled professional liability matters as well as military contractor claims under the Defense Base Act and the War Hazards Compensation Act. An avid litigator, David is always eager for the next case to argue before a jury.

David started his firm with a commitment to practicing the profession with the skill, care, and expertise which is so often lacking in today's legal practices. By maintaining a smaller caseload and speaking regularly with clients, David is able to devote the extra time required to craft and plan litigation strategies individually for each case, and never simply relies on a one size fits all approach.

​David is originally from Oceanside, New York on Long Island. In his spare time he enjoys attempting to improve his golf game (often to no avail), skiing, and rooting for the Giants, Islanders, and Mets.
