The opposite of fear is faith, especially in selecting a lawyer!

How frightening can it be when you are permanently disabled and your other half is a senior citizen still working and you receive a notice to vacate in one month even when you have never ever missed a rent payment that was at fair market value in over a dozen years of tenancy. Very scary stuff until ...I was recommended to Brian Stark. Just navigating the Bronx county courthouse was intimidating but Brian's representation for us against a formidable management company lawyer was noteworthy. We were totally overwhelmed with the whole situation and his legal advice and law knowledge and demeanor made it quite clear that we had selected the right lawyer to help us , and he did on all fronts, emotionally and physically were in a tail spin but he pulled us through with as fair a judgement that could be expected and a very reasonable fee for all the time ( and time is money) that he devoted to our case. My sense is we would not have had such a favorable outcome if we were represented by someone else. His office staff was great too!

Thank you Mr. Stark!!!

Thank goodness for Mr. Stark. I had the most disrespectful tenants. They weren't paying their rent AND they were also vandalizing/defacing my property. My other tenants were actually considering moving because of my problematic tenants. I went in to Mr. Stark's office and met with him. He was hone...st in explaining the different potential outcomes and I decided it would be necessary to attain his services. Mr Stark evicted those terrible people in 6 months time and now I can relax.

Saved Me Lots of $$$$$

At my consultation Mr. Stark discovered that I was living in an illegal apartment. Mr. Stark was able to have all of my arrears waived and I was allowed to stay in the apartment 4 months rent-free.

Excellent Landlord/Tenant Attorney

My case was explained to me thoroughly from inception to end. I would highly recommend using this attorney for any landlord/tenant matters.

Very bad experience

He is a two faced person. Before taking my case, he acted like a great person. After taking my case he became very aggressive and acted in favor of the tenants. He constantly gave tenants more time without consulting us first, making deals to benefit them using his position. He has caused the case to... drag on for much longer than necessary.
