Ms. Aplin is a no nonsense divorce lawyer. After 12 years of being divorced, my ex had the nerve to want me to continue to pay child support after my daughter went away to college. She refused to pay her half of colleges expenses as well. Our original agreement called for us to split the proceeds ou...r our house when the child turned 21. She took out equity loans and refinanced without my knowledge eroding the equity I was entitled too. Yes, it took awhile BUT this is the system!
