I’ve used Allison for over 10 years, in almost every different court there is and I don’t care what anybody says this is the lawyer that you need, she doesn’t sugarcoat it she tells you exactly how it is and don’t waste her time trying to lie to her, she’s heard it all. Ms. Aplin goes in there and do...es what she says and then some, I’ve seen it done on more than one occasion. I’ve referred her to at least 20-30 different people and they either already acquired her services or they were in the process. You pay her for results, to fight and protect you, you don’t pay her to hold your hand and give you hugs and kisses, that’s why I call her The Terminator. Sorry Alison but you are the best!!!

I am a Wall Street executive living in Manhattan for decades and I hired a "hot shot" Manhattan lawyer to originally handle my case. After close to a year of complete nonsense and huge bills, I was nowhere in court and finally realizing how the system and most players in it are a sham. She is tough as nails, she is not glitzy nor glamorous and I say this because when you are considering divorce, you want someone representing you that cares about YOU and only YOU and not someone that is concerned if their office is lined in walnut paneling and shiny brass high up on the 30th floor of a midtown office building. She hides behind no facade, she is law, she eats it, she breathes it and she knows how to navigate a corrupt, sad and inefficient court system like the one that exists in Manhattan. As you read this message, think that this is coming from someone that went through a hellacious divorce riddled with stress and disbelief of a broken system with a sociopath on the other side. Alison was not only able to take control of a case spun out of control but also get me to refocus and tend to my own emotions. In other words, she sees the case from the broad view, controls every aspect of it and in the meantime, goes at the court like a starving lion ripping up a zebra limb by limb. She whipped the opposing party into shape and spun the court into a full 180 in favor of me and my situation. I am in control of my son's custody now, I made my way out of the divorce and she stewarded a deal palatable to me. In fact, she explained that despite more cost, she could have taken this to trial and won me even more equity to put me net up versus additional fees. In other words, she gave me all the options with fairness and only my best interests in mind. She listened to my side, she understood my plight and she ultimately worked to a settlement satisfying both parties and bringing the case to a quicker end while avoiding the potential of further frustrations of an actual trial. She was patient and walked me through all my options and assisted me in making the decision that was best for me. She is straight forward, she is tough, she is smart, she is a winner and she is fearless. She can take on any of the pathetic divorce lawyers out there. In my field, I have dealt with world class lawyers in corporate law, litigation, enforcement and securities law between New York City and Washington DC and I have to say that my opinion of divorce lawyers in general is somewhere below the frost line and dirt. They are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to law, to afraid to do something real in law other than prey of people in a high emotional state. My point, look at Alison's background. She operated as a prosecutor and a defense attorney for some seriously brutal clients, her teeth are sharp and her game is honed because she has not been a divorce lawyer for her whole career.
