Made a Miserable Divorce Worse

Hired her. Knowledgeable. Completely unfriendly. Not supportive. Waits til last minute to prepare leaving it to the judge to make decisions without supporting documentation. You don’t feel like she’s trying to win for you, just go along with the other side to get through it. Fees fair and properly... applied. Unpleasant person for a lousy process.

Not providing a name should be a clear indication that this is not a real client with any actual knowledge of my manner of practice. I would suspect most of my adversaries would disagree with this review as I rarely "just go along with the other side". In fact I zealously advocate for my clients. I am presently representing second and third generations within the same family. Divorces are not pleasant. It is not me that is unpleasant. It is generally the law, the process and the emotional toll that a divorce takes upon the client that is unpleasant. I am; however, direct and candid with my clients at all times.

Would Recommend Her

Knows her field. Doesn't lie about billing. Unfortunately, treats you like the cockroach that you are. Problem if going through a divorce. Things that could be done quickly or more thoroughly aren't because of the system's slowness and because she procrastinates, too. She missed several things t...hat could have been improved had she been more observant. Blew them off later as not important.. Fortunately was only about $25K-$30K in assets. Office staff is overwhelmingly revolting. Just amazing how they grub for money when payment is not a problem.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
