Several years ago, Ray was selected as outside counsel by a former employer's insurance carrier to assist me with a harassment claim. Since that time, I continue to rely on Ray for guidance and assistance with a number of matters including discrimination litigation, personnel issues, reductions-in-f...orce, employment policy matters, internal investigations, and the list continues. The reason I rely on Ray is very simple. He is extremely responsive; he usually has an immediate answer (which tends to be 'spot on') and if he does not, he provides initial guidance and then promptly follows up with confirmatory advice; and, probably his finest quality, he is a pragmatic thinker. These are all attributes in-house counsel seek when engaging external counsel. These are part of Ray's DNA. Simply put, he is one of the finest I've had the pleasure of working with.
